Re: Interesting place to enjoy tea
Wed, November 12, 2008 - 10:16 AMok we went there last weekend finally. very cool place but one problem. they don't offer tea inside the garden unless you take one of their special tea classes which do look pretty cool. but i want to petition them to start having tea service in the park, there must be a way to have ti and still keep the place clean, it would be so perfect to hang in the bamboo forest or by the waterfall with some nice Japanese green.
or maybe i should just sneak some in myself :) -

Re: Interesting place to enjoy tea
Wed, June 3, 2009 - 10:49 PMIf you live in the Bay Area, and want to experience a traditional Japanese tea ceremony, the Green Gulch Zen Center (near Muir Beach) offers them on Sundays. It's a really lovely setting as well. I hope they still do it, I haven't checked in awhile!
